Entertainment's dependency on the rise of the smart phone device

Progressing all the time are mobile developments and so it is easy to see how smartphones are now able to stream movies using the latest mobile software which is changing our everyday lives. From iphones and blackberries to the android and other devices, there are plenty of opportunities now to stream your favourite films and TV programmes online. One thing to think about is if smart phones will make up the majority of future innovations in digital solutionssince they already account for an estimated 70 per cent of all mobile devices.

Smart phones don't just send texts and make phone calls, but also allow us to check our emails, check our social network sites, book holidays, read books, take photographs, organise our work schedules and allow us to download and listen to music. Now web solutions mean that people can live stream their favourite shows and films directly from online quite efficiently and without having to download them first.

With the four main areas of entertainment in mind (music, gaming, film and TV), let's look at how likely mobile phones will become consumer's first entertainment choice.

However, the gaming and film industries are different from TV and in terms of PC and console gaming, mobile phones simply cannot compete because they are not powerful enough nor have big enough screens to support the experience.

Smartphones cannot really dominate the movie industry either as the cinema experience can't be beaten, and as for DVDs, most families, couples and friends are never going to watch movies on their smartphones instead of the TV.
