The Powers of Daniel Chavez Moran

Although Daniel Chavez Moran is first and foremost a businessman in Latin America, he is also the philanthropic visionary who established a socially related foundation. After finishing civil engineering in college, at 22 he started working on his company which has grown since then. With a lot of luxury resort destinations under its belt, Grupo Vidanta is constantly growing since its birth in 1974. The company that Moran established is currently one of the best developing companies in Mexico with several luxury resorts under its belt. Grand Deluxe is a resort operated by Moran's company and the Grand Mayan Hotel is also another luxury destination that his company developed. The company is also the owner of the Paraiso Mazatlan luxury resort. No longer relying on the government for maintenance, the Mar de Cortes International Airport is also operated by the people from Grupo Vidanta. In Mexico, there may be a lot of tycoons but it was Daniel Chavez Moran and his company that managed to own an airport. Aside from being critically acclaimed, the airport was also awarded the Premio Obras Cemex. He has been able to achieve a lot of things--wealth, successes and accomplishments-- with his company and after years of success, Moran came up with an idea that will change Mexico for the better. After thirty six years of delving into all sorts of development work and other businesses, Moran left his executive duties to pursue his goodwill ideas. Moran is not the kind of individual who wants to get noticed because he is filthy rich. Finding a way to help people who are constantly exposed to poverty and inequality is the goal of the Grupo Vidanta Foundation and they are intent on helping people whether they are of Latin descent or not. Apart from inequality, the group also wants to control poverty. It initiates programs, projects and activities in the promotion of leadership and social development. As a non-profit organization, Grupo Vidanta Foundation is completely self-financed. Contributions from other charitable networks help with the financing. A man by the name of Roberto Russell is the head honcho of Grupo Vidanta. As influenced and inspired by its founder, the Foundation has three simple and achievable goals. Aside from political concerns, they also discuss social affairs with the communities that they reach out to. It hopes to raise the awareness of people about the gaps that are keeping the region in poverty. The thing about Grupo Vidanta is that they are focused on mending ties between different Latin American nations. Of course they want the democratic spirit to flourish but the group is also working towards the inclusion of Latin America in global projects. A way of promoting these is to publish books and research studies. Most of the things the group does have a link not only to economic betterment but democratic aspects as well. Moran has always been supportive of these things. He hopes to see the end of poverty and inequality in the not-so-distant future. Several years ago, the Fundaci³n Delia Moran A.C. was set up by Daniel Chavez Moran. This foundation is named after his mother and the goal is to help disadvantaged children aged 6 to 12 who struggle each day just to survive. Helping out the needy children in their country became his educator mother's goal in life.
